VR HORROR EXPERIENCE | SLEEPLESS
I am passionate about horror, so I wanted to create a tense and thrilling experience that has people totally on edge.
Inspiration for the game came from hearing about sleep paralysis; a condition where people experience a feeling of being conscious but unable to move. It occurs when a person passes between stages of wakefulness and sleep. Most of the game is set in a somewhat normal situation, which then takes a twist into a darker more surreal environment.
Being more of an experience than a fully interactive game, the core mechanic of Sleepless is designed to allow the player’s line of sight interact with objects in the room; consequently triggering certain events to unfold before them. This allows the game to play out according to the player’s reactions and behaviours.

The games I enjoy most are those with a message within the story, that leave you thinking about its ending for days after you finish. I often gravitate towards games with interesting art styles and surreal visuals. I would love to be a part of a company creating a game where the player feels emotionally attached to the story and characters, with visual moments and twists that make you go “Wow!” Hard surface modelling, sculpting and 2D art are the areas I’d love to work in – here’s my portfolio!
